About Our Company
Dear Visitor,
Welcome to Skipstones! We like to think of ourselves as special. Our name, 'Skipstones' has a very nice ring to it. Many of our customers are pleased with the cute, clean and durable look of our line.
We are, primarily, a manufacturer of quality children's denim casual wear. Until now, Skipstones has been only available through Specialty Children's shops.
Skipstones, also, has broader appeal and we offer a growing range of garments to accommodate all ages. After all, all ages can identify with the youthful and innocent activity
of skipping stones. You don't have to be a 'Hardcore' stone skipping enthusiast to feel comfortable in our clothes. Not being hesitant about showing off your down to earth, good nature seems the only requirement.
Founded in 1992, we have gone through many changes. We started out as a greeting card company. Then, we tried to sell clothing through the local surf shops here in San Diego county. We played with our look while we learned the garment manufacturing business over the years. It wasn't until we started to make children's denim clothing that things started to click.
We're still very small, but we have high ambitions to be a premier leader in the clothing industry.
